What is your channel called and what is it about?
My channel is called Glamouraspirit, and I share lifestyle content focused on Vancouver events, family-friendly experiences, travel, food, and everyday life. My goal is to help people discover fun things to do while sharing authentic moments from my own journey as a mom and content creator.
When did you start it? What motivated you at the beginning?
I started my content creation journey in the summer of 2015. In the beginning, I was passionate about fashion and beauty and wanted a creative outlet to share those interests. Over time, as my life evolved, so did my content, naturally expanding into lifestyle and motherhood.
Who were you inspired by? Any influences?
I was inspired by some of the original bloggers and influencers who paved the way for digital creators, including Chriselle Lim and The Blonde Salad. I admired how they built communities through storytelling and authentic content.
How would you describe your audience?
My audience is primarily made up of people in Vancouver and across Canada who are interested in family-friendly activities, local events, travel, food, and lifestyle inspiration.
What is your creative process? Do you have people who work with you?
I handle most aspects of my content creation myself—from communicating with brands and developing concepts to filming, editing, and creating final content. It’s truly a one-person operation. That said, I’m very fortunate to have support from my husband and occasionally friends who help capture photos and videos during events and partnerships.
How do you monetize your content? Do you also have another job?
Content creation is my full-time career. I primarily monetize through paid partnerships, brand collaborations, sponsored content, and advertising opportunities.
What is your favourite piece of content you have created?
To be honest, I really don’t have one, but if I had to say it’s anything with my daughter in it 🙂
What is the best part about what you do? What is the worst part?
The best part is being able to experience incredible events, destinations, hotels, and family activities while sharing them with my community. I also love creating memories with my daughter through many of these experiences. The most challenging part is managing deadlines and approvals, especially when balancing multiple campaigns and attending late-night events while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
What are your future plans for your channel?
I try not to plan too far ahead because the social media landscape changes so quickly. Honestly, I’ve already exceeded many of the goals I had when I first started, so anything else I see as a bonus and blessing. Right now, I focus on the next 3 months at a time, continuing to create content that resonates with my audience while staying open to new opportunities and directions.
Where can we follow you?

PAY IT FORWARD: What is another Canadian content creator that you love?
I would recommend Sarah Nicole Landry, better known as The Birds Papaya. She is a Canadian mom, content creator, and advocate for body positivity who has built an incredibly inspiring and authentic brand. I admire how she uses her platform to encourage confidence, self-acceptance, and meaningful conversations. I had the opportunity to meet her briefly once, and she was genuinely warm, kind, and approachable.
