How would you describe your comedy style?

I would describe my style as stream of consciousness, sarcastic and deprecating to my family and friends and no one else.

Who are some of your influences?

Conan O Brien, Tig Notaro, John Mulaney, Nate Bargatze, Ali Wong, Ronny Chieng, Jimmy O Yang, Stephen Colbert

Who was your favourite comedian growing up?

Probably Conan O Brien or Stephen Colbert

Who is your favourite comedian now?

Michelle Yeoh in Everything Everywhere All at Once

What is your pre-show ritual?

I pace around, get a bottle of water to hold and then stare at the lineup sheet anxiously until I go up on stage.

What is your favourite place you have performed? Why?

Hollywood Theatre in Kitsilano last night opening for Donnell Rawlings because it was a blast!! Great venue and the man’s a legend and a pleasure to work with.

What is your favourite bit you have written and why were you proud of it?

I think it’s my newest bit about being queer. I am proud of it because it’s honest about who I am and at the same time a funny joke. That’s all you can hope to achieve within a joke!

What is your favourite medium for listening or finding new comics/comedians?

Probably through watching their specials or bumping into them at a show. I did Catherine Cohen’s show in New York and then watched her Netflix special and it was phenomenal. She was amazing in person and on the special.

Do you have anything to promote right now?

Not right now but I will have tons to promote soon, which I cannot reveal! Follow me on my social media and stay tuned.
