Peepaw is a handsome tuxedo boy who came into our care as a stray, so very little is known about his past. Since arriving, he’s been feeling quite overwhelmed and is still a bit shut down, but he’s slowly starting to show us that he wants to trust.
Although he’s not ready to seek out attention just yet, Peepaw has been accepting gentle pets from staff and volunteers, which is a wonderful sign that he’s beginning to feel safe. He’ll need a patient adopter who understands that building trust takes time and is willing to let him move at his own pace.
Peepaw is looking for a quiet, adult-only home with no children, where he can settle in without too much activity or change. His ideal family will give him the time, space, and understanding he needs to gain confidence and come out of his shell.
With kindness, patience, and lots of love, we believe Peepaw has the potential to blossom into a wonderful companion.
