Spookie the cat is looking for a new lovely home in the Vancouver area

This sweet thing may be named Spookie but she is anything but scary! Spookie was an owner surrender because of an apartment fire, which took her home from her and her devoted owner. Left with no choice, Spookie’s owner selflessly decided to leave her in the care of the BCSPCA in hopes that she would be given a new opportunity for a new home.
According to Spookie’s owner, she prefers to be the only kitty in the house but could potentially tolerate another kitty who knows the concept of personal space. Having had roam of her place at free will, Spookie was not stoked on her new digs here at the centre but she quickly learned to adore the regular wet food deliveries and the volunteers who make sure they get their spooky time in each shift!
Spookie is veeeeery affectionate and will rub up against you to her hearts content. She can easily be won over with wet food and has been caught making biscuits in her cozy bed whilst she’s being visited by her favorite volunteer friends. Spookie loves human companionship and will be sure to keep you company throughout all of your daily activities.
