Rapid Fire Local Questions:

Favourite local restaurant:

Chickpea is very delicious, and I always overeat! My favourite dish is hatzil baladi.

What is your favourite street in your city and why?

My favourite street is where I used to live on Howe Street under the bridge at Pacific, because now they put up a chandelier and I marvel at it and love to walk underneath it, and remember a time when I lived over there.

What is your favourite park in your city and why?

My favourite park is actually China Creek South in Vancouver. I failed as a skateboarder here for over thirty years, and it’s very meaningful to me to keep it this way, haha.

What is your favourite music venue in your city?

My favourite music venue will always be The Rickshaw Theatre, run by one of my very best friends Mo Tarmohamed

What is your favourite music store in your city?

My favourite music store has to be Long and McQuade on Terminal because before that it was on Granville and before that it was downtown, and we know all the same guys since we were young rats in bands all trying to just rent gear and drag it on the stage at the Cruel Elephant and hoping to open for our heroes at the Town Pump. The guys at L&M grew up with us and us with them. Love them!
