Darrell Dennis is a proud Secwepemc filmmaker from the Adams Lake Indian Band in the interior of British Columbia. He started his career as an actor, but after becoming disillusioned with the clichéd Indigenous roles he was going out for. He soon became focused on creating his own projects and is now a dedicated screenwriter, director, and producer, who is passionate about spreading positive Indigenous imagery in mainstream media. In addition to over thirty years in practically every facet of the theatre, film and television world, Darrell is a comedy veteran with televised performances at The Winnipeg Comedy Festival and the Just for Laughs Festival. Darrell was also the very first Indigenous cast member in any of the world-famous Second City companies. Darrell now divides his time between British Columbia and Los Angeles with his wife and business partner, Katya Gardner and his two very Canadian-named dogs, Casey and Finnigan.
