Britney Spears. Growing up in Iran, she was all over cable and MTV. I looked up to her a lot as she represented freedom and self-expression, which are things I couldn’t have as a young girl in Iran.

Skrillex. Every record he touches is so unique. He’s such an innovator and inspiration for dance music.

Live show ritual:
I’m big on taking time for myself before shows. My ritual is to meditate for 10 minutes, think about things I’m grateful for and stretch.
For me, taking a bit of time for myself before being on stage allows me to really be present on stage and enjoy the moment.

Early bird. I love working out in the mornings before hitting the studio.
Road or studio?
I love both. It feels so rewarding to lock away in the studio and create a song you’ll have forever. But I also love being around fans and performing.

My new single ‘LIMIT’ with EVAN GIIA just came out. I’m also on tour all summer performing at festivals all around North America.
