Five Minutes With: Vancouver R&B Artist Mikey Jose

Mikey Jose is an emerging R&B/Soul/Pop artist who has been making waves in the music scene since 2019. With two EPs under his belt, including his latest release, ‘Beautiful Life,’ Mikey brings a unique blend of soulful melodies and heartfelt lyrics to his music. His newest single, ‘Quarterlife,’ continues to showcase his evolving sound, and the accompanying music video further captures his artistic vision.

Influenced by artists like Allen Stone during his upbringing, Mikey’s current musical inspirations include Jazmine Sullivan, Lucky Daye, and Samm Henshaw. Despite his love for soulful tunes, Mikey has a guilty pleasure for hard metal and screamo music, which adds a unique edge to his personality.
