Based out of Maple Ridge, BC, Kassandra Clack is a tenacious country artist who is no stranger to radio buzz in both major and satellite radio markets. With her most recent involvement as a finalist in Canadian Music Week’s Jim Beam 2021 Talent Search, Kassandra has enhanced her industry presence while telling stories from the heart.
Determined to further herself as a nationally syndicated country artist, her releases “Buy My Own Beer”, “Stolen” and “Are You with Me” were all added to SiriusXM’s country rotation. In 2021, “Buy My Own Beer” made its way to Yangaroo/DMDS’ “Top 5 Country Downloaded” and “Most Active Indie” charts. I’ve always loved the calibre and scale of Carrie Underwood’s shows. Recently I’ve found some real synergy in the pop elements within the Country genre with artists like Morgan Wallen and Mackenzie Porter. Those would be some top picks for me!
Guilty pleasure song:
This is such a tough question with the wide variety of music available today! I’d say a combination of Jojo and Maddie & Tae’s femme-power tunes like ‘Bathroom floor’.
Live show ritual:
Ah, it tends to be location-dependent but typically looks like vocal warm-ups (The straw method/anything my speech therapist and vocal coach advises) and warm water with honey!
Favourite local musician:
One of my favourite local musicians is Nuela Charles. The sounds and messages in her recent single ‘Worthy’ just melt my heart and liven my soul!

Early bird or night owl?
Early bird! I’m typically asleep around 8:30 PM so I can be up before the rest of the world arises the next morning!
Road or studio?
When a song comes together in the studio it’s simply magic and when I’m in the room with my tribe at a venue that’s where the magic comes alive.

My latest all-season summer getaway song is now available in all stores. I’m helping pump up this release by getting my live show ready with my band around local venues like the Mission Twilight Concert Series (Aug.17th, 7-8:00 PM)!

I quite enjoy a nice stroll along the seawall downtown. So refreshing and rejuvenating!
Favourite park in your city:
We’re lucky enough to be within 5 minutes of the most quaint summer spot. Whonnock Lake has it all. Beach, park for the kiddos, tennis courts and a nice walk in the woods. It has such zen energy and has really become a favourite local spot to catch my breath.
Favourite music venue in your city:
I’ve seen some fab shows at The Biltmore and love playing at The renowned Country Hot Spot ‘The Roxy’ downtown.
