Meet Stanley! This big boy came to us after uncertain circumstances in his past. He has a goofy personality and enjoys spending time in the yard, going for walks, and being with his people.
Stanley is a strong boy who will need an adult-only family that can confidently manage his size and continue working on his manners. Like many giant breeds, he doesn’t always realize just how big he is and will benefit from ongoing training and guidance.
When Stanley arrived in our care, he was struggling with matted fur. After a much-needed haircut and brush, he’s feeling much more comfortable. His future family will need to be committed to regular grooming to keep his coat healthy and looking its best.
Stanley is not the biggest fan of other dogs and would likely do best as the only pet in the home. Stanley has been through some big life changes, and can understandably feel a bit anxious at times. He is looking for a family that will take things at his pace and give him the structure, care, and companionship he deserves.
