Gus the dog is looking for a new home in the Vancouver area

Meet Gus, a charming 10-month-old Mastiff Hound mix with a heart as big as his paws! This gentle giant may be a bit timid around other dogs due to his past experiences, but he’s an absolute people-lover and a devoted lap dog at heart.

Currently, Gus is in the process of learning obedience skills, as his previous training has been minimal. He’s eager to please and would benefit from continued training to help build his confidence and manners.

Gus is a nature enthusiast who absolutely adores his walks, especially when exploring the woods. He would thrive in a home where he can enjoy regular outdoor adventures.

Given his nervousness around other dogs, Gus would do best as the only pet in a household. While we haven’t tested him with cats, his gentle nature suggests he might get along with a confident feline companion.

One thing Gus can’t resist? Treats! He’s incredibly food-motivated, which can be a fun and effective way to bond with him while continuing his training.

If you’re looking for a loyal and loving companion who’s ready to embark on outdoor adventures and snuggle up on the couch, Gus could be the perfect match for you!
