How would you describe your comedy style?

An awkward lady who can surprise you with jokes and insights about the world.

Who are some of your influences?

I feel like my material is a fusion between Hannah Gatsby and Daniel Tosh.

Who was your favourite comedian growing up?

Growing up I listened to Sirius XM comedy channels. I got to hear a variety of comics from all over North America. My fav was John Mulaney’s Top Part album; in hindsight, him going to rehab wasn’t shocking.

Who is your favourite comedian now?

Can’t just name one so I’ll do categories

TikTok: Taylor Tomlinson

Fav Roaster: Dina Hashem

YouTube (2008): Jeff Dunham

Vancouver Comic: Sean McDonnell

What is your pre-show ritual?

I enjoy taking a 45-minute nap 2 hours before the show and a snack.

What is your favourite place you have performed? Why?

Portland Craft Pub on 3835 Main Street has Crummy Comedy every Monday Night. It’s a great place to quickly test out new bits I thought of recently.

What is your favourite bit you have written and why were you proud of it?

My favourite is always shifting as I’m writing more material. Currently, my favourite joke is about the double standard for penis sizes for Cis men vs Trans women. I like it cause it reveals who in the audience has a small penis and usually results in fun crowd work. One time someone’s Girlfriend straight up outed them after I told that joke.

What is your favourite medium for listening or finding new comics/comedians?

YouTube is great for introducing the latest rising comics.

Tell us a joke about your city

I love Vancouver pigeons; they are so gentle compared to other cities. I went to Toronto last year. The first day I was there a pigeon approached me and screeched

“GIVE ME YOU WALLET!!!”

PAY IT FORWARD: Who is another local comic/comedian we should know about?
