Norbert the cat is looking for a new lovely home in the Vancouver area

Gentle soul Norbert has once again come under our loving wings after spending years in what was intended to be his forever home. This sweet boy originally arrived in our care as a young kitten, already displaying a natural reserve and wariness of people.

Norbert comes from an unstable environment that has left him particularly sensitive and in need of a quiet, safe haven. Now more than ever, he longs for a peaceful sanctuary, a place where not only his physical safety but also his emotional well-being is nurtured. Here, he can finally relax and discover what it means to be truly loved, away from the noise and fear that once characterized his life.

Norbert brings along his cherished heartbeat kitty stuffy, a comforting companion that makes him feel secure and grounded when the world seems overwhelming. What he dreams of is a home that can offer more than just shelter, a compassionate environment where he can continue his emotional and social journey, and learn to trust in the enduring kindness that people can offer.

His loving, calm and quiet foster home has discovered that Norbert is “a hunk o’ burnin’ love!”. Norbert loves to be held by his gentle foster mum and is soaking up all of the love and play he can get from her. What a lucky boy!

Could you be the empathetic and loving soul who answers Norbert’s quiet call for a life where he can not just survive, but genuinely thrive?
