“A Day in the Life” with: Vancouver Artist Jude Kusnierz

At The Beaumont, Jude Kusnierz isn’t just our Executive Director — she’s the heartbeat of the place. She built this community from the ground up, giving thousands of artists a space to create, connect, and take risks. What makes her different is that she’s one of us — a true creative who knows what it means to hustle, dream big, and keep art alive in a city.

Jude has turned The Beaumont into more than studios and a gallery; it’s become a cultural home to 10’s of thousands. Art Exhibitions, Radio shows, immersive theatre to fundraising campaigns that keep the lights on, she’s always balancing vision with action. We trust her because she fights for us, encourages us, motivates us and fights for affordability, for accessibility, and for a future where artists in Vancouver don’t just survive, but thrive.
