Meet Copper! Copper is a sweet gentle pup looking for her forever home. Copper loves to play and run and will be best suited in an active home. She is fully potty trained and a super quick learner. Copper is also crate-trained.
Copper was returned to us due to her high prey drive towards the resident cat. She will need to go into a home WITH NO cats, although another dog would be okay as she seems to get along with them well, after a slow introduction:)
Her lucky new family should have some dog experience and be willing to work on general training/jumpy mouthy behaviour. She is fearful of sudden, new noises and tends on the submissive side so working on making her more confident will be important as well.
Copper loves to go on walks but will need help learning leash manners. Probably not suitable for off-leash parks/off-leash nature walks – at least at this point. She has been doing really well with a halti harness on her walks and is pulling less.
