Favourite musician growing up:

Elton John

Favourite musician now:

Half Moon Run

Guilty pleasure song:

I Really Like You – Carly Rae Jepsen, though I’m not really that guilty about it

Live show ritual:

The band puts our heads together, literally together, puts our arms around each other and takes three deep breaths together. Then I say a quick pump-up speech and we hit the stage. The deep breaths (sort of) help manage that start-of-show adrenaline rush.

Favourite local musician:

The Metchosin One AKA Jesse Roper

EP or LP?

LP for sure. Give the artist some time to tell a story

Early bird or night owl?

Very much depends on the day but night owl mostly

Road or studio?

Another diplomatic answer. We love the studio, getting into the nitty-gritty details of a tune, adding all kinds of fun layers. But we live to play live. That’s ultimately what it’s all about.

Any shows or albums coming up?

May 10 in Victoria at Phoenix Bar

Working on some festivals and stay tuned for our next Vancouver show announcement!
