Days of Lavender is Vancouver’s meditative electronic soul-pop duo, blending music, storytelling, and wellness practices into immersive experiences. Formed in the spring of 2021 when Stephen (bass, piano, Ableton PUSH) and Daniela (vocals) met and fell in love, the project has grown into a shared creative offering rooted in healing and connection.
As wellness practitioners, they launched InnerSpace in 2022—an event series weaving together visual and digital art, yoga, breathwork, sound baths, DJ sets, and their own live performances. Their 2023 EP, Mary’s Garden, introduced audiences to a performance style infused with narrative and atmosphere, carried to venues and festivals across Vancouver.
Later that year, they created Ambient Meditation, a monthly event series combining guided meditation, mindful movement, and storytelling with their live music. Originally hosted at Lobe Studios and now held at the Beaumont Studios, the series has become a cornerstone of their multidisciplinary practice.
In June 2025, Days of Lavender hosted their first retreat on Salt Spring Island, bringing together musicians, facilitators, and land stewards to explore earth-based spirituality. That fall, they will release their debut album, Already Everywhere—a two-year collaborative project featuring artists including Des Hume, Forrest Mortifee, Jonah Ocean, Connor Roff, Jacob Weil, and Trent Freeman. The album will be followed by a tour in 2026, expanding their vision of music as both art and medicine.

Rapid Fire Local Questions:
What is your favourite local restaurant?
Sula. It’s this super tasty indian restaurant off of Main St. They do this loaded samosa that’s the most delicious thing I’ve ever had.
What is your favourite street in your city and why?
Beach Ave. It’s such a beautiful place to ride your bike next to all of the beaches. We also absolutely love the seawall. We sometimes set up a slackline near Sunset Beach, put some music on, and just sink into the day.
What is your favourite park in your city and why?
Stanley Park- we’ve had lots of adventures in that park- and written the first melody to many of the songs on our album there
What is your favourite music venue in your city?
The fox. We’ve played a few shows there, and it’s always been such a great time. It’s such a Vancouver classic, really easy to get people to come out, amazing sound system there, and such a nice size.
What is your favourite music store in your city?
Red Cat Records. Such a cozy record store that’s a few blocks away from where I live.
