Geronimo the cat is looking for a new home in the Vancouver area

Meet Geronimo! When he was first picked up as a stray in Prince George, he was very nervous in the shelter. After staying with a quiet foster home for less than 2 weeks, his true personality has already begun to shine!

Geronimo loves cheek scratches, and he will lean into your hand with the weight of a thousand suns. If you call him over, he will cautiously but happily trot over to you with the expectations of treats and attention. During the day, he can be found lying in his cat tree or on our couch (a huge improvement from always hiding under the bed). As a young cat with lots of energy, he would be happiest with regular play sessions, and he will sing to let you know when he’s bored.

He has become much more comfortable and confident in such a short period of time, so we have no doubt that he will be a happy, interactive, playful cat when he’s fully settled into a new home.

It may take some time for him to be comfortable in his forever home, he needs a quiet family that can respect his space during the transition, but who will also give him the stimulation he needs.
