Homegrown Business: Kassandra Hamilton of Ready, Set, Realign

High-achieving women often occupy a similar in-between space, outwardly successful yet internally disconnected, praised for their achievements while quietly navigating burnout and misalignment. Kassandra Hamilton, MSc., set out to change that. With over a decade of experience across healthcare, clinical research, and digital health systems, she brings both a systems-level understanding of well-being and a deeply personal awareness of what it means to feel out of sync. As a certified Health & Life Coach, Bio-Energy Practitioner, and Sound Healing Therapist, she blends science with somatic and intuitive practices to support lasting transformation. The result is work that treats alignment not as a luxury, but as something essential, creating space for women to reconnect with themselves and build lives that feel as good on the inside as they appear on the outside.

Ready, Set, Realign

What is your business called and what does it do?

I support high-achieving women in health and human service roles to prevent burnout and build resilience, so their lives feel as aligned on the inside as they look on paper.

What made you want to do this work?

After working alongside nurses, teachers, and frontline professionals, I saw how many were quietly burning out while continuing to show up for others. I also experienced burnout myself. It became clear to me that we need to better support the people who are supporting everyone else.

What problem did you want to solve through your business?

After a decade working in digital health systems across Canada, I saw firsthand that systems and people are both inherently imperfect. My work focuses on bridging that gap, helping individuals build internal resilience while navigating external demands in a more sustainable and aligned way.

Who is your main clientele/demographics?

High-achieving women in health & human service roles.

How does your business make money?

Coaching women individually and through a co-author series where I facilitate the sharing of stories of these women and the resilience they have built along their journeys. I am also piloting talks and workshops for burnout prevention with student and staff at Universities.

How has your business grown over the years?

This is a new business, in year two.

Where in the city are you located?

I am in Nanaimo, Vancouver, BC, but I work with women all over, as I can provide my services remotely.

What is the best question a prospective customer could ask a member of your profession when comparing services?

Question: “How do you create change that actually lasts beyond the sessions?”

Lasting change comes from working at both the nervous system level and the behavioural level. My approach combines evidence-informed coaching, nervous system regulation, and practical integration so clients don’t just feel better temporarily; they build sustainable patterns that support them long-term in their work and lives.

What is the best part about what you do? What is the worst part?

Best part: Supporting women in reconnecting with themselves and watching that shift ripple into how they live, work, and lead.

Worst part: Building a business as a solopreneur can be demanding, particularly when you care deeply about the impact. I’m actively looking to collaborate with others in this space to expand that impact.

PAY IT FORWARD: Can you please refer another local business that you love?

I love working out of Triple Moon Mercantile — it’s a beautiful local healing space that supports a variety of practitioners and community offerings.
