Collage is a Canadian-made, naturally formulated skincare brand that promotes inclusivity, celebrates aging, and emphasizes sustainability. Infused with botanical ingredients like chamomile, witch hazel, and cucumber extract, Collage softens and hydrates the skin. We spoke with co-founder Olga Roberts to learn more.

What is your business called and what does it do?
Collage is a clean, three-step skincare system designed to support skin’s evolving needs with scientific innovation and botanicals. It enhances tone, texture, and multi-depth hydration, while willow bark—a natural source of salicylic acid—gently exfoliates to optimize skin renewal.
Much like a collage, where different elements come together to create something beautiful and whole, our skin is a reflection of our journey, layered with experience, care, and change. Made in British Columbia, Canada, our small-batch production ensures freshness, efficacy, and attention to detail. Collage is more than skincare—it’s a luxurious, sustainable ritual that nourishes skin at every stage of life.
What made you want to do this work?
I wanted to challenge fear-based messaging around aging and foster a more empowering approach to skincare—one focused on care, not correction. My own journey made me mindful of what I put on my skin, and rather than settle for products that didn’t align with my values, I created something better—clean, high-performance skincare that builds confidence. Collage is about more than products; it’s about redefining self-care with integrity, sustainability, and long-term skin health in mind.
What problem did you want to solve with the business?
The beauty industry prioritizes marketing over genuine skin health, relying on harmful chemicals, plastic packaging, and unattainable beauty ideals. Collage was created to change that, offering high-performance, transparent skincare free from unnecessary additives. We also focus on responsible packaging and ethical sourcing, choosing sustainable alternatives over harmful industry norms. Sustainability is an ongoing journey, and we’re committed to staying informed, evolving, and continually improving to make the best possible choices.
Who are your clientele/demographics?
Collage is for anyone looking to nurture their skin, regardless of age or gender. Our skincare supports natural aging with formulas that promote tone, multi-layer hydration, texture renewal, and brightening. For those who are serious about their skin—especially people who want to achieve their most beautiful, healthy complexion without compromise—Collage delivers high-performance, luxurious skincare rooted in both science and sustainability. Our customers seek effective, results-driven products while valuing vegan, cruelty-free formulations and eco-friendly glass packaging. Whether they prioritize self-care, skin health, or a mindful beauty routine, Collage is designed for those who expect the best, both for their skin and the planet.
How does your business make money? How does it work?
Collage is a direct-to-consumer brand, selling online and through select partnerships with like-minded allies who share our values. Sticking to our vision is an investment—we prioritize high-quality ingredients, sustainable packaging, and meticulous formulation to deliver effective skincare while maintaining luxury, efficacy, and environmental responsibility.
Where in the city can we find your profession?
Collage is primarily available online, allowing us to connect directly with our community. We are also curating select retail partnerships, with brick-and-mortar availability coming later this spring.

What is the best question a prospective customer could ask a member of your profession when comparing services? Give the answer as well.
Question: “What makes your skincare line different from others on the market?”
Answer: Collage focuses on pro-aging, not anti-aging—supporting skin’s natural evolution with ethically sourced bioactives and powerful botanicals. Willow bark, nature’s salicylic acid, is at the core of our system, gently exfoliating in every step to enhance absorption and results.
Beyond performance, we emphasize luxury with a conscience, free from the industry’s “dirty dozen” and packaged in eco-conscious glass. When comparing brands, ask: Does this align with my values? Does it truly nurture my skin? That’s where Collage shines.
What is the best part about what you do? What is the worst part?
The best part is seeing Collage truly deliver results—my own skin is more hydrated, even-toned, and radiant without needing foundation. Seeing others experience the same confidence is incredibly fulfilling. The toughest part is balancing passion with self-care. It’s easy to get consumed by work, but I’m learning to trust the process and allow myself grace when things don’t unfold as expected.
What is your favourite joke about your own profession?
Starting a skincare brand has taught me a lot—mostly that running a business, like good skincare, requires a lot of layers… hydration, protection, and occasionally, damage control!

I love Saltyface, a Vancouver-based brand redefining sunless tanning with clean, natural formulations. Their Tanning Water is the best I’ve ever used—easy to apply, natural-looking, and free from harmful ingredients. Like Collage, they’re committed to sustainability and botanical-based beauty.
