Twinkie the dog is looking for a new home in the Vancouver area

Twinkie is fierce, confident, and independent puppy that is ready to steal your heart! She is very sweet, loving, and cuddly when she has her moments. Twinkie was taken from her mother at a very young age so we have placed her in foster where they have been acting as momma dog.

She is an explorer and a grazer and Loves to chomp on anything she can find so you’ll have to watch her! So far she likes to explore and chomp more than run around.

She met a young boy (maybe around 10 years old) and was very sweet to him, she was completely calm and allowed him to gently hold her face and pet her. As she’s so young we can’t confidently say she’s good with kids but she is surely off to a great start.

She has about a 95% success rate with pee pads so far and is always improving. She is slowly learning to only use the bathroom outside.

Twinkie loves to be held and cuddled for short periods of time. The sound of traffic frightens her but she is getting better.

So far Twinkie behaves well with other dogs, but has more of a disinterest in socializing, she’d rather have something to chew and hang close to a human.
