Sesame the dog is looking for a new home in the Vancouver area

Meet Sesame! This sweet, energetic girl is looking for her forever home. Sesame is an excitable, friendly dog who would love a busy household with lots of family members. She does not like to be left alone, so a home where someone is always around would be ideal. She gets along well with children and has had doggie friends in the past. She can sometimes be intimidated by dogs that are much larger than her, so other dogs in the home should be around the same size.

As a miniature Poodle, Sesame will need regular grooming to keep her coat in the best condition. She is still learning to enjoy brushing, and her future family will need to patiently work with her to turn grooming time into a positive experience.

Sesame has a spay scheduled in Vancouver, so we are only considering families in the Lower Mainland at this time. Potential adopters will need to be able to transport her to her surgery appointment.

Due to the large amount of interest we expect for this cutie, we are only accepting online applications at this time. Please fill out an application at adopt.spca.bc.ca, and we will be in touch with the first suitable applicant.
