How would you describe your comedy style?

My comedic style is evolving, the easiest way for me to answer this would be to tell you my style is eclectic like me. Part storytelling, part satire, with a dash of deadpan self-deprecation and a pinch of misdirection.

Who are some of your influences?

Some of my influences growing up would definitely be…

Singing in the Rain, I was a tap dancer and a performer when I was a kid and nothing beats the scene where they’re walking in a circle on the floor.

I would watch the Simpsons and David Letterman every week with my parents.. sometimes even the BBC, which is why I’m great at accents.

Who was your favourite comedian growing up?

Growing up I’d say anything SNL or Mad TV Robin Williams

Who is your favourite comedian now?

Taylor Tomlinson, Chelsea Handler, Ali Wong

What is your pre-show ritual?

I wear too much makeup and feel guilty for leaving my dog at home

What is your favourite place you have performed? Why?

I can’t really talk about it yet, but locally it would be at The Rickshaw. We love a venue with a little history, and the staff is wonderful.

What is your favourite bit you have written and why were you proud of it?

My favourite bit I’ve written is about being diagnosed with an undiagnosed mood disorder. What the hell does that even mean? I’m proud of it because it’s honest, vulnerable and relatable. BUT it’s not ready, I’ve tried bits and pieces here and there but it needs to be reworked.

What is your favourite medium for listening or finding new comics/comedians?

My favourite medium for finding comics would probably be podcasts or social media. When I’m elsewhere I love going to live shows.

Tell us a joke about your city.

Growing up in Vancouver all you learn to do in school is Earthquake drills. Which is why during the pandemic I sat under a table and counted to 60.

Do you have anything to promote right now?

You can find info about our shows on our Instagram.

Where can we follow you?

Instagram

PAY IT FORWARD: Who is another local comic/comedian we should know about?

I’d like to pay it forward to my friend that is absolutely crushing Randy J (Jernidier)
