Get ready to meet the man of the hour – our brave friend – Wilson. Wilson has experienced more hardship than the vast majority of shelter animals, and maintained his sweet, loving purr-sonality throughout. He was in rough shape when a good Samaritan came upon him. He needed a full abdomen surgery and leg sutures. A lot of his skin was already irreparable. He was underweight and severely dehydrated. He had so much damage to his tail that he required an immediate amputation. Things were very touch and go for Wilson, and his recovery was a long, complicated road. His spirits never faltered. He remained steadfast in his affection and trust in staff, volunteers, and fosters. The multitude of wounds caused him to go through several infections and receive many medications. His unwavering love has touched all of us, and we are happy to say that he is now completely healthy. Willy is a very special boy who deserves a very special home. He’s looking for someone who promises to cherish and care for him during his golden years. What he needs now is a worry-free retirement and someone to share all his love with.
