John Lawrence the cat is looking for a new lovely home in the Vancouver area

Meet John Lawrence! This sweet little kitten strutted into the East Kootenay centre alongside their 5 kitten siblings with a mission – to spread purrs and love across the East Kootenays and fight for the rights of all kittens!

These guys were trapped from a feral colony but shortly after being put into a foster home, they realized that they had finally been truly rescued from an outdoor life of fending for themselves. These friends have fought hard to keep healthy and thanks to the incredible love and dedication of one of our many foster families, they truly know that humans will always be there for them.

These kittens aren’t interested in being released back out to the big bag outdoor world – since learning the cosy features of the indoor life with humans, they’re sold. They’d love a cosy window nook to perch, some cat YouTube shows on replay for Saturday morning snuggles and to be kept entertained safely and securely!

Freedom is important to these kittens! The freedom to feel safe in this world as they pounce, stalk and hunt all their favourite catnip-bathed toys. A life where they can continue to fight for the cause – of ensuring all kittens on Earth receive the tastiest wet food and the freshest kibbles on the land.
