They say not to meet your heroes – but this handsome boy is without a doubt the exception. Hero is a resilient young man who came to us in quite a state. Covered in thistles and severely matted, Hero was in need of vet care and love. He’s received the vet care he needed and has plenty of love from the shelter staff, but what he would really like is a home of his very own. Understandably, this sweet friend is on the shy side but LOVES snuggles and chin scratches. It’s amazing that after everything he’s been through, he is still taking a chance on trust and connection. It’s not hard to see how this brave guy earned his name! Like the song says: Hold him in your arms tonight. He can be your hero, baby. He can kiss away the pain. He will stand by you forever. He can take your breath away.
