Meet Hector! He is dangerously handsome, a little large, with a not-so-great haircut. He came into our care when his owner passed away, so naturally, he was quite confused and scared. Hector went into a loving foster home to make him feel safe and secure, and give us an opportunity to see what his needs are.
His foster mom has fallen in love and has nothing but great things to say about this guy. He is a quiet, gentle giant with an enormous purrrrrrr. He likes to hide out and watch from a distance until he feels comfortable in a home, then he will sit out on the couch with his people and seek attention. He also comes alive at night and likes to play with toys under the cover of darkness.
He would do well in a small space despite his size, as that is what he is used to. He would love to live with someone or multiple people who are home a lot and can chit chat and give him lots of scritches. He wouldn’t mind living with some older kids as well.
He is a senior cat, so people need to be prepared to take on the needs of an older cat, and he will also need to go on a weight loss journey!
