What is your business called and what does it do?
My business is called Creative Creations 604. I specialize in crafting personalized party favours, such as custom candies, chips, drinks, and signage for events. Whether it’s a bachelorette, bridal shower, wedding, birthday party, baby shower, or corporate gathering, I create one-of-a-kind items tailored to the event!
What made you want to do this work?
I decided to start my party favour business because I’ve always had a passion for creating memorable experiences for others. Watching people’s faces light up when they open one of my creations is incredibly rewarding. I wanted to create something special for others, giving them the chance to offer their guests a unique touch that enhances their celebration. My love for design, creativity, and making people smile were just a few of the reasons I wanted to start this business.
What problem did you want to solve with the business?
I wanted to make people’s lives easier when planning their events. Many of my customers reach out to me for an order and instantly tell me that figuring out a party favour is one of the most stressful parts of planning. However, Creative Creations 604 is a one-stop-shop for all your party favour and signage needs, and help relieve your planning stress!
Who are your clientele/demographics?
My customers vary from all over the world! I’ve shipped numerous items to various continents and across Canada. I’m forever grateful for all my customers who let me be a part of their events in a small way.
How does your business make money? How does it work?
I purchase all the items, such as the candies, snacks, and drinks. Additionally, I create all the wrappers and labels myself. I do all the design in-house and spend numerous hours ensuring each product is perfect.
Where in the city can we find your profession?
I work out of two spaces- Vancouver and Richmond. I offer local pickup from either of the locations as I want to make my business accessible for all my local customers!

How do you ensure that the custom products you create match my vision and event theme, and how do you guarantee the quality of the materials used?
This question gives me the opportunity to emphasize both my commitment to personalization and my dedication to using high-quality materials and also helping reassure my customers that they’re getting both custom designs and premium workmanship.
What is the best part about what you do? What is the worst part?
The best part: Seeing the smiles when customers pick up their items and receiving thank you messages after the customers’ event is completed. I take pride in my work, and it brings me utter joy when I can put a smile on someone else’s face!
The worst part: I’m a one-woman show, and finding a balance between my personal life and business can get complicated.
What is your favourite joke about your own profession?
“What you do seems easy, let me try!” I remember hearing this joke a lot when I first started. However, the more people saw what I was doing, the items I was creating, the more they realized it wasn’t as easy as it looked.
