Which ’hood are you in?

My studio is located in the midst of an urban oasis in Burnaby. It serves as the creative hub where inspiration flows freely. The majestic mountains, vibrant energy of the neighbourhood, serene beauty of Burnaby Lake Park, and ever-changing Vancouver weather constantly inspire me and drive my artistic pursuits.

What do you do?

I am a passionate ceramic and visual artist who loves all things creative. I cherish the moments I spend in my studio, where I work on new designs, make glazes, and paint.

Additionally, I am a teacher of wheel-throwing and hand-building, and I enjoy sharing my skills with others. As an art therapist, I take great satisfaction in bringing my life experiences, professional training, and creativity to help foster healing in my clients.

What are you currently working on?

Currently, I’m occupied with creating an assortment of artistic projects. I’m crafting wall decor with a minimalist style and sculpting large-scale vessels, a new process for me that requires a lot of learning. Additionally, I’m throwing some new spring-themed heart mugs on the wheel and adding some new forms and designs to the timeless Whistler series.

Where can we find your work?

You can check out my online store to find limited-edition home decor and dinnerware pieces for every season. You can also find my pottery on Etsy and Golem Designs Store or visit Giving Gifts on Main, the only physical location to purchase my work post-COVID, for an inspiring and delightful shopping experience. And of course, you can always visit my studio by appointment!
