Meet Nico! Nico is a friendly 1-year-old hound mix ready to bring his special brand of sunshine to your family. Nico was brought to the SPCA as a stray, and he clearly appreciates the amenities of indoor life. He bonds quickly with people and is happy to do whatever you want to do. Wanna go for a hike in the woods? Grab the leash, and let’s go! Feel like watching a movie on the couch? Save him a seat, and grab the popcorn. Nico loves exploring the world with his nose and loves going for long walks and sniffing every bush he passes. He is housetrained, walks well on leash, and knows some basic commands. He is still fine-tuning his manners, but training is easy with a dog that loves treats as much as Nico does. He gets along well with other dogs (although he can come on a little strong at first), but we aren’t sure how he feels about cats or other small animals.
