Harlow is a sweet but timid dog who will need patience and understanding to help her feel safe and comfortable. With her favourite people, Harlow is affectionate and loves getting pets and scratches. Once she has expended her energy, she would be a great buddy to relax and curl up on the couch with.
Harlow is a very smart girl who loves her treats, so continued training would be a wonderful bonding experience! She can be unsure of new environments and may require some time to adjust. While she is getting used to her new space and family, Harlow’s ideal home would have a safe and secure yard for her to enjoy, as she loves being outdoors. Once she has adjusted to her new life, Harlow would love to join her people on outdoor adventures.
Harlow has recovered from a previous injury and is looking for a family that can help monitor and manage it to ensure she stays comfortable. Due to her shyness, she would do best in a home with older, dog-savvy children or adults only. While Harlow may do best as the only dog in the home, she could potentially make canine friends outside the house with the right introductions. With patience, she may also be open to having a feline friend.
