Ralphie is an approximately nine-month-old Caucasian Shepherd mix with a heart as big as her paws. This gentle girl hasn’t had much exposure to the world yet, so new people and situations can make her a little nervous. But once she feels safe, her sweet and affectionate nature truly shines through.
Food is the key to Ralphie’s heart! Offer her a tasty treat, and you’ll quickly be on your way to earning her trust. Her love for snacks has helped her make wonderful progress, and each day she becomes a little more confident and curious about the world around her.
Ralphie has spent much of her life with other dogs and has found great comfort in the company of her siblings. Because of this, she would likely thrive in a home with a calm, friendly, and confident dog who can help show her the ropes and model what it means to be a relaxed, happy companion.
She’s still learning about some of life’s basics, like walking on a leash and feeling comfortable indoors. A home with direct outdoor access would be ideal while she continues to work on house training and gain confidence in new routines.
Since we’re estimating both her age and breed mix, it’s possible that Ralphie may continue to grow into a big girl, but no matter her size, she’ll always be your loyal, snuggly sidekick!
Ralphie is looking for a patient, loving family who can offer her stability, kindness, and encouragement as she blossoms into the wonderful dog we know she’s meant to be.
