Marley the dog is looking for a new home in the Vancouver area

Marley is a big, lovable girl who came into our care after her previous owner could no longer care for her. Though she may be reserved at first, Marley warms up quickly and is incredibly sweet with her human friends. She loves to jump up and give lots of kisses and enjoys quiet time cuddling next to you once she’s gotten her wiggles out.

Marley thrives on being around her people and prefers to eat in their company. She can be vocal when left alone, so she’d do best in a home where she has company most of the time. Marley enjoys walks and loves sniffing and rolling around the yard.

Due to her sensitivity with touch on her hind end and possible early stages of arthritis, Marley’s new home should be prepared to help her live comfortably with these needs. She’s also on a special diet to help her lose weight.

Marley loves to have all the attention to herself and would do best as the only dog in the home. She previously lived in a home with a cat and may do well with a dog experienced feline friend in the home, given a proper introduction. Because of her size and tendency to jump, she’d be best suited for a home without small children.
