Carol the cat is looking for a new home in the Vancouver area

Love a senior cat? Then you have to meet Carol. She came to us as a stray and has spent her whole life outdoors on her own. When she came to us, she was in really bad shape. Her coat was matted to her skin, and it was clear she had suffered a lot in her time outdoors. Yet she remained the sweetest little purr machine.

Since coming into our care, we have sent this sweet gal into foster so we could have a better idea of her needs. She has loved every minute of her fancy indoor life and hasn’t looked back on her tough years on the streets.

Despite her hardships, she is so happy to have a safe place. She greets her foster mom with the sweetest little chirps and purrs, and cozies up for a cuddle often.

Carol will need a family that is willing to give her the support she needs. She has some arthritis – but doesn’t let that stop her! She manages just fine in the home with no problem using her litter box. She recently started using some little stairs, which help her get up onto the bed for snuggle time!
