What is your business called and what does it do?

We go by YUM SWEET SHOP or YUM

What made you want to do this work?

I am a candy and sweets lover. I love to bake and experiment in the kitchen. YUM has always been a passion project- creating a special place to create amazing experiences.

What problem did you want to solve with the business?

My primary goal was to create something different and offer a unique experience. YUM transports you to a simpler time when having a treat was just that. No guilt, no shame. Just yumminess!

Who are your clientele/demographics?

From 4 to 94 we have guests of all ages. If you love ice cream, sweets and candy YUM feels like home.

How does your business make money? How does it work?

We sell through brick and mortar locations as well as online and delivery platforms.

Vancouver (4150 Main Streer and 3129 West Broadway)

What is the best question a prospective customer could ask a member of your profession when comparing services? Give the answer as well.

Best question “Why should I buy your ice cream?” Our answer is because we make it with love and it’s better than all the rest!

What is the best part about what you do? What is the worst part?

Best part is meeting interesting people with stories to tell. There is no worst part. I feel very lucky
