Homegrown Business: David Turnbull, Owner of TurnFit

TurnFit offers both in-person and online personal training to help its clients achieve their physical and mental health goals. The model of personal training at TurnFit works because the personal trainers work with their clients to set their own personal objectives while also developing healthy, long-lasting lifestyle habits. What is the best question a prospective customer could ask a member of your profession when comparing services? Give the answer as well.

What is the TurnFit Method? How can you help my mental health and empower me?

We focus on posture, not just in the gym but in real life. How you stand, sit, walk and move. Our movement style is how we all use to move as kids playing. We connect the mind back to the muscles that need to work to optimize our everyday activities. We train each client as if they are becoming a personal trainer so that they have all the knowledge and feel empowered to leave us at any time they choose.

Changing people’s lives mentally and physically. When you feel good everyone you interact with becomes more positive and that is very contagious. The personal training industry typically does not have a good name set for itself and people are scared of getting injured or fad diets/programs.
