Meet Kenny! This handsome ebony gentleman came to the SPCA as a stray, looking a little beat up and worse for wear. He has quite a few scratches and small wounds he’s recovering from, likely due to fighting with other cats outdoors. He’s also sporting a short new hair, likely due to being matted. Needless to say, Kenny is looking forward to a fresh new start, and now that he’s been neutered is ready for his fur-ever home. He’s a friendly and affectionate guy who may be a bit shy and nervous at first in a new environment, but will quickly be all over you for pets once you give him some attention. We don’t know if he’s lived with children or other animals before, so slow, proper introductions would be very important. A very busy home with young kids might be a bit overwhelming for him, but older, cat-savvy kids may be fine. He seems to be a very sweet, big-hearted fellow who will make a wonderful companion and addition to a home. You’ll fall in love with Kenny when you meet him.
