Rufus the cat is looking for a new home in the Vancouver area

Rufus is a handsome gentleman who is looking for his fur-ever home. He was brought to the SPCA after being found outside fending for himself in a rural area, matted and covered in burrs. He’s now sporting a sleek new haircut so he can get a fresh start. Don’t judge him if he looks a little silly.

He is a very outgoing and friendly cat who will demand your attention, then rub against you happily, getting all the pets he can. He melts into never-ending purrs when he gets chin scratches. Rufus is such a loving and affectionate guy; he will make a wonderful companion and great addition to any home.

Rufus was adopted, but unfortunately, was quite stressed in the home and had some accidents outside his litter box. He was also very talkative and showed high signs of separation anxiety. Rufus is on a special urinary diet to hopefully curb this behaviour and is looking for a home where his people work part-time, or remotely. He loves having his people around and would excel in a quiet, adult-only home with no other animals.
