What made you want to do this work?
My passion for creating accessible and elegant jewelry began with a very personal story. Growing up, I was surrounded by my mom’s collection of beautiful buttons from her travels around the world. Each button held its own unique history, and I was fascinated by the idea of turning these small, meaningful objects into wearable art. This inspired me to start crafting handmade button rings, and it was in those early creations that I found a way to blend personal and cultural stories into my designs.
From that moment, I knew I wanted to build something bigger—something that would allow people to express their individuality through jewelry that not only looks beautiful but also tells a story. I’ve always believed that high-quality, thoughtfully designed jewelry should be accessible to everyone, not just a luxury for a few. This idea has driven me to create pieces that combine elegance, craftsmanship, and cultural inspiration at an affordable price point.
Ultimately, I wanted to create a brand where people can connect with the meaning behind their jewelry and feel empowered by the stories they carry with them every day.
What problem did you want to solve with the business?

Additionally, we believe in investing in the future generation, which is why we’ve hired over 30 students in the last 4 years through nonprofit organizations like Venture for Canada and Ripen Level UP, as well as fashion schools like the John Casablancas Institute. Together, we’re making a difference, one piece of jewelry and one opportunity at a time.
